What you can expect
Kur-Cow Barnwell farm has been nominated as one of the 'Best In Queensland' experiences by Tourism and Events Queensland. Come along to explore the farmland and tropical rainforest tablelands just outside of Cairns.
This 30 minute ATV Tour and 30-minute horse riding experience will take you through the valley and pockets of rainforest across the farmland. You will see plenty of cattle grazing the grasslands and look out for other farm animals along the way. This is the perfect activity for the whole family - book your tickets here.

- Entrance to petting zoo
- Safety helmet and vest
- Hayride
- Cattle and horse show
- Hotel transfers can be booked at an additional cost.
- Transfers depart Cairns CBD at 8.30am and return at approx. 3.15pm
- Saddle up for a guided horse riding adventure through the hills and rainforest (30 mins approx.)
- Hop onto an ATV for an exciting tour across the working cattle station (30 mins approx.)
- Get up close with all the farm animals at the petting zoo

- Comfortable clothing
- Dresses and skirts are not advisable
- Closed in walking shoes recommended
- Sun protection, including sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses
- The minimum age is six years
- Not suitable for pregnant women or those with back pain
- Water fountains available for use onsite
- Please advise upon booking if a dietary need is required
- Guests must sign a liability waiver before participating in any of the activities
- Please note that any entrants (non-activity participants) are required to pay farm entry $15pp for adult, $10pp for child
- 24 hours notices are required for cancellation or reschedule , or 100% of cancellation fee will be charged.
- No Show or late arrival without prior notice may result forfeit of experience.
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
